Daisen Sakura Blossom : Postcard

Daisen Sakura Blossom is printed from sketches I made while traveling through Japan in winter and spring. These small scenes reflect the calm, and moments inspired me along the way. This sketch comes from a visit to Yonago Castle Ruins in Tottori, Jaoan. I found the location while staying in Yonago City and simply looking for a place to spend an afternoon. I didn't expect much, but the view surprised me. Between the cherry blossoms and the sight of Mt. Daisen in the distance, I found myself returning a second time during my three-day stay.

Somtimes the places we discover by hcange become the most memorable parts of a journey.
